The majority of stairs that I build are done in antique reclaimed wood.
Occasionally I step out of my mould and work with new wood.
This stair is done in Rift Sawn White Oak. The posts , the railing , the treads , risers
and stair skirts when joined together with craftsmanship give a sense of unity and beauty to a home.
The stair can become much more than simply a way of accessing your upstairs,
it can become a centerpiece in an already attractive home.
