This is a kitchen I did for, and with, some very good friends. We had redone the floors and trim work in the house in a major remodel 15 years ago. The kitchen had escaped the remodel and was by now needing major attention.

We did this as a joint effort. I did the woodworking. The lady of the house did the painting. She meticulously applied layers of milk paint and hand rubbed varnish . Her husband and I did the concrete countertops. With him doing the bulk of the work ; hours of polishing!

The floor we installed is an antique reclaimed original surface oak. The widest plank is 10 inches.
